I have not seen God but I have seen my mother who has always loved us, even when we set the carpet on fire while growing up (yes I was a very naughty kid). She has always been there to support us especially when needed the most.

She has always protected us, guided us & forgave us.

A mother is someone who is not human…but an angel.

Simply put, if I had a flower for each time I thought of my Mother, I could walk in my garden forever.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mother’s!

Here is a beautiful story I found on Google which I thought is worth sharing.

MOTHER’S LOVE

A little boy came up to his mother in the kitchen one evening while she was fixing supper, and handed her a piece of paper that he had been writing on. After his Mom dried her hands on an apron, she read it, and this is what it said:

For cutting the grass: $5.00
For cleaning up my room this week: $1.00
For going to the store for you: $.50
Baby-sitting my kid brother while you went shopping: $.25
Taking out the garbage: $1.00
For getting a good report card: $5.00
For cleaning up and raking the yard: $2.00
Total owed: $14.75

Well, his mother looked at him standing there, and the boy could see the memories flashing through her mind. She picked up the pen, turned over the paper he’d written on, and this is what she wrote:

For the nine months I carried you while you were growing inside me:
No Charge
For all the nights that I’ve sat up with you, doctored and prayed for you:
No Charge
For all the trying times, and all the tears that you’ve caused through the years:
No Charge
For all the nights that were filled with dread, and for the worries I knew were ahead:
No Charge
For the toys, food, clothes, and even wiping your nose:
No Charge
Son, when you add it up, the cost of my love is:
No Charge.

When the boy finished reading what his mother had written, there were big tears in his eyes, and he looked straight at his mother and said, “Mom, I sure do love you.” And then he took the pen and in great big letters he wrote: “PAID IN FULL”.

Lesson:
You will never know your parents worth till you become a parent.

How one generation loves, the next generation learns.

A record quarter for the Toronto condo market as sales hit 6,070

Stats from the Urbanation Q1-2012 market overview has few juicy ones that really caught our eye.

According to an Urbanation press release, there were 6,070 sales in Q1-2012 in the Toronto condo market, the highest of any first quarter on record.

“Despite the record sales in Q1-2012, Toronto CMA brokers and developers still report anxiety about the future health of the condo market,” said Ben Myers, Urbanation Executive Vice President and Editor, in the press release.

Toronto housing bubble talk dismissed

The head of Canada’s biggest bank and one of the country’s leading developers said the housing market is not in a bubble, even as one economist said Toronto is caught in a “condo craze.”

Canadian housing starts rose to the highest since September 2007 last month, led by multiple-unit projects, Canada Mortgage & Housing Corp. said yesterday. The annual pace of home starts rose 14 percent to 244,900, Ottawa-based CMHC said.

Participants at Bloomberg’s Canada Economic Summit in Toronto said talk of a housing bubble is overblown.
